Welcome

Welcome to McKenzie Center for Innovation and Technology (MCIT) located in the Metropolitan School District of Lawrence Township. We have the privilege of serving students from Lawrence Central High School and Lawrence North High School by offering a variety of Career and Technical Education classes for dual credit and also provide our students with the opportunity to earn industry certifications. 

Our highly trained staff spends each day providing our students with the best educational opportunities available with the help of our stakeholders and many community partners. We understand that education goes beyond traditional academics and that students need to explore their strengths and interests. Based on this the majority of our programs implement innovative technology, project based learning, work based learning, and provide internships in order to give students hands-on and real world experiences. Students must have the academic and Career and Technical Education skills for life after high school. We want our students to develop a love for learning and to understand the potential they hold.
